Terms and conditions |
1. Participation in the 35th Amsterdam Marathon is for your own risk and responsibility.
2. The organisation accepts no responsibility for cancellation or relocation of the event of any unforeseen circumstances. In that case the registration fee will not be refunded (payments for DVD will be refunded). Mizuno Running shirts that are already paid will be send home and the costs of sending will be paid by the organisation.
3. Registration is personal and non-transferrable.
4. If you must cancel your reservation before 1 September 2010 you will be refunded 50% of the fee.
5. If you cancel after 1 September 2010 the registration fee will not be refunded.
6. If you convert your reservation to a shorter distance none of the registration fee will be refunded.
7. If you convert your reservation to a longer distance you will be invoiced for the difference in the amount of the registration fee.
8. Participants agree to any use of their images in print, photographs, film, video and such like for promotional purposes of the Amsterdam Marathon without payment.
9. The minimum age for participation in the marathon is 18 years. |

Confirmation |
If your register online, (and you have filled in your correct email address) an email will be sent to you confirming your place when the registration has been processed.
You will not receive any confirmation if you have registered using a registration form sent by post. The registration fee will be debited from your account within two weeks and on receipt of your authorization. Your registration will only be valid on receipt of full payment by the Stichting Amsterdam Marathon / Amsterdam marathon Foundation.
Confirmation of Participation
Comprehensive information about the marathon will be sent to you by post in early October. The enclosed letter will be required in order to collect your start number and chip. These can be collected from Sporthallen Zuid on Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October.
Important: Your start number and chip will not be sent to you and must therefore be collected personally from Sporthallen Zuid (see 'Marathon Markt' for opening hours!)
If you discover any error in the confirmation you receive, please send a copy of your confirmation with corrections to Amsterdam Marathon, p/a Le Champion, Postbus 5029, 1802 TA Alkmaar, the Netherlands before 14th October. The form can also be sent by fax on +31 (0)72 533 93 98.
